Who Is The Editor Of  The Hydroponics Aquaponics News Digest?

Hi!

My name is Roger Pilon. I am born in Quebec, Canada. Twenty years ago, I escaped from the harsh winters of Quebec to live in Costa Rica, Central America.

July 2007!  After more than 10 years as the owner and operator of the first Cybercafe in Costa Rica, I sold it!

Now I am searching for a new challenge in my life (work), meanwhile I am doing what I like the most: contributing to a better world!

The original idea started way back when the barrel of oil was around $150 USD.  I stumbled upon an article from an “expert” saying that the solution to resolve hunger was to give more money to poor countries in order to buy more tractors and more agrochemicals! So wrong! Then a thought popped into mind!

” Do something! No matter what! Anything is better than nothing! ”

Mission

This is when I decided to increase awareness of hydroponics and aquaponics as key tools in fighting hunger around the world. My first site is the Hydroponics Aquaponics Monster Directory. With time I added this one:  The Hydroponics Aquaponics News Digest.

Some people collect stamps, I collect news. News about the hydroponics, aquaponics and on a lower level, aquaculture. It is a digest news and I only post the most interesting ones about the hydroponics aquaponics industry!
